Joey Dauben's magic act was impressive. I even fell under the spell. Until those that he counted as allies fell from grace.
I know what he thinks of Barbra Farris. I wonder what he thinks of William "Bill" Windsor? He can thank Bill and his _Lawless America" for his failed defense! Listening to Bill is like listening to the ocean in a sea shell 700 miles from the coast. It just isn't real.

OK So now we have the three hats in a 1 ring circus.
Three hats. One belonging to Cedric Davis, Another Julie Greer, and the third belonging to Carrie Gordon.
Lets face it folks. I will be endorsing Carrie Gordon for Mayor of Balch Springs.

When 30 years Equals The Final Judgement
When 30 years behind bars equals your final judgement, you are left to ponder many things. For years Joseph G. "Joey" Dauben trashed those who were in elected positions if they did not meet his standard. He was at the very least opinionated and at his worst was libelous.
Indeed Joey had a talent for digging up the hard facts on things no one else wanted to know. He also had a talent for hiding his personal demons.
Joey will have time to think about what one wrong decision placed him in the custody of TDC for at least 15 years of his life. He will have time to rethink his priorities and life direction. Yes one day Joey will get out and read my blogs and postings. He might want to get revenge upon me for telling the truth. For not standing with him. Reality is that I would rather he read and learn from my words that just take to a blog and slander everyone as he attempted to in his so called book.
When Joey is paroled he will find the world dramatically changed. It will be very different that what it was when he was incarcerated. Views and scenery will have changed. He will find things he once knew are no longer the same. He will find the very world was not what he left it.
Indeed a few of us may not even be alive when he gets out. Friends and enemies alike will be dead and gone before he gets out. Things happen in life.
The time that Joey has to spend behind bars is for him to consider his crime and if going back is worth the risk of repeating the offence. I honestly don't think Joey would repeat his crime. In fact I think he will re energize himself to a truly productive member of what ever the future of society is.
The one time aspiring lawyer and politician might very well be very handy with tools he never knew the name of before. Only time and fate will tell.

Now That Joey Dauben Has Been Sentenced
Now that Joey Dauben has been sentenced it is up to the Judge in Navarro County to decide how long he must spend there. Joey was given up to 10 years prison on 3 of the 4 charges. And 10 years probation on one. The Jury must have found some redeemable quality in Joey. Now the Judge must decide whether or not the sentences can be served congruent or consecutive. Meaning does the Judge give him a credit of 3 for one or does he have to do 1 for 1?
Let me break this down so I don't lose anyone here. The Judge can let Joey Dauben serve all three sentences at the same time i.e. the 3 for one or he can "stack" them so Joey Dauben would have to do the sentences one after another i.e. 1 for 1.
I would like to see the Judge issue Joey Dauben the stacked sentences. He would have to serve 14 years and 8 months roughly before he would be eligible for parole. This only accounts for the time Joey Dauben has already spent in county lock ups. This would in no way account for good behavior.
If the Judge does not stack the sentences then Joey would be eligible for parole in 4 years 8 months. Not taking into account time for good behavior.
I for one will be pleading for the Judge to pass on the longer sentence simply because Joey Dauben will not have learned anything if he only serves 4 years on a 10 year sentence and has the other sentences reduced to zero. Joey Dauben always said his pen was mightier than any law. Judge please prove to Joey Dauben he was wrong.
Joey Dauben needs to learn that when you call for stronger sentences that you commit yourself you will get held to those standards. For years Joey cried about the light sentences that were handed out to child rapist and pedophiles. For years he attacked the system that allowed it to happen. The irony here is that the person that would have been most happy with the sentencing today would have been Joey Dauben if he had not been the subject of it.

How Hard Was It.
I keep asking myself "How hard was it for Joey to have to sit in a jail with the last look at the internet and having to delete the personal email accounts and various blogs that were essentially his life?"
I can imagine him looking at the DA and pleading for some mercy. To leave something on the net of himself. Some where there are parts of him that still remain. Some of the images of him drinking that glass of alcohol. A few with his beloved bullhorn. A few with his "girlfriend". Sure the pages remain but the admin controls are gone.
Just like this blog. While I can publish I can not do the administrative tasks. Now the email Joey had controlling this blog is gone. I am sure one day that someone can get Joey to give them the passwords to this blog and remove me from it. It would be fitting to Joey's vindictive nature. I also know somewhere in some other persons possession is a hard drive or flash drive with all of Joey's passwords, email address's, and blog sites.
Someone is poised to take control of what is left of his media outlet. I just wonder if they know what they have and if they have the guts to use it? I wonder if someone is willing to attach themselves to Freedom Of The Press Group? There are the die hard types that are out there. One of them might try if they have that information.
If I had that information I would simply follow the order from the 40th District Court in Ellis County Texas. I would delete everything. Or I would remove the Freedom Of The Press logos from everything and remove the slander and liable from the postings.
I would start over. I would begin removing the out of state blogs. I would remove anything that I personally couldn't prove. I would delete the YouTube videos first and foremost. Everything covering Joey would vanish. Beginning with this one.
This is the biggest joke Joey made. Placed on YouTube just days before his arrest on the Navarro County charges that he was just convicted of. I wonder why the District Attorney has not forced YouTube to remove these videos?

The Links On The Right DON'T WORK
Yes I know that the links on the right don't work. When Joey set this blog up he never figured that he would go to jail. He never bothered to allow those that took away my ability to post anything on the ECO page to take this away. Now I have this blogger and the email for Joey's admin no longer works. The State of Texas and the 40th District Court in Waxahachie, Texas saw to that.
I still have Editorial power but I cant change the themes. Not that I really want to. I just wished that I could remove the links that are now broken.

Joey Dauben Now Awaits Sentencing | Curtis Butler
Joey Dauben now awaits sentencing in his sexual assault case from Navarro County. Joey Dauben has caused heartache and headache for many in Balch Springs and Ellis County.
Many are reveling in the fact that Joey is now a five time convicted felon who can no longer access the internet or social media.
I will hope that prison rehabilitates him but I doubt that he will be very useful to society.
